From the early days of dance and circus to her debut and magic shows in Las Vegas, from touring internationally with award winning magic to producing magic production shows, from mentoring to providing contracts for emerging talent, nothing has been impossible on Connie’s journey.
Very early on in Connie’s magic career she began working with Don Wayne, Joanie Spina and Shimada, to create magic and illusion routines that were her own distinctive signature presentations. Connie’s show, “the Beauty of Magic” was an award winning international success and her magic was unique in its physicality and presentation. She has been called “delicious entertainment” and is credited as “breaking the glass ceiling in magic” and been called “the foremost female magician of our times”.
Pre-pandemic Connie offered four different magic, illusion and magic production shows, “ILLUSIONISTA”, “Chicks with Tricks”, “the Beauty of Magic” & “ILLUSIONS” each starring a different female magician.
With shows frozen in time due to Covid-19, Connie’s newest project is Magical Women which features weekly magical, celebrity guests talks and sequels on her YouTube channel. The series includes magicians in all genres of magic honestly talking and sharing their success, struggles and challenges. Her goal is to create a visual source and to document women in magic in 2020. Guest stars include Juliana Chen, Billy Kidd, Josephine Lee, Diana Zimmerman, Kayla Drescher (that’s me!), Tina Lenert, Jen Kramer, Krystyn Lambert and many, many more. In August Connie collaborated with Paul Romhany the publisher of VANISH magazine and Magical Women articles are now included in VANISH and published monthly.
Connie’s energy and passion for magic is clearly evident as is her creativity to make the most of each and every opportunity (even in a pandemic) finding the beauty of magic that makes her a magical woman.
